Thomas Campbell – Slide Your Brains Out Event Recap

To all who made the trek to the shop last night, we thank you with many a shaka.

The Thomas Campbell signing of his book Slide Your Brains Out went on without a hitch, and we opened the Thalia doors to a few hundred folks or about as much as we can squeeze into our tiny bodega a la surf. Surrounded by friends, beers, and live jams courtesy of The Mattson 2, Tmoe signed away into the midnight hour showing us that above all his talent, he’s an awesome guy and has got the endurance of any pro out there.

The good folks at Element brought by some surprise goodies too. Offering up some limited early release Thomas Campbell skate decks and completes, as well as some trunks he designed for their Emerald collection which are due out next year.

At the end of all this, we must say, it’s a good feeling seeing so many amazing and talented people come out in support of the arts, music, and Thomas and we’re stoked to help house an event like this in our little shop on the beach.
