2nd Annual ‘Get Your Heart On’ hosted by Thalia Surf and Se La Clothing

Yep, ’tis the season again for our annual ‘Get Your Heart On’ with the lovely ladies from Se La Clothing. Oh, and a live music set from Alex Knost’s newest endeavor: Tomorrows Tulips. Yes, a fun night indeed, featuring crazy discounts and sales for one night only. I feel like the announcer, Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Demolition Derby! One Night Only!! — except this party is on a Friday. The 12th of February to be exact. So we’ll see you then. Come get weird with the strange, at Thalia Surf Shop. 915 S. Contest Winner Announced!

The Custom Set Up Contest held by us and Surfer Mag and co sponsored by Michel Junod Surfboards and Axxe Wetsuits has finally come to a close. We are proud to announce that local Long Beach, CA surfer Douglas Harrison, 41, is the winner of a most epic contest. We really couldn’t think of a better way to start off the New Year than with a brand new one of a kind Axxe wetsuit and Michel Junod custom board, annnd $250 bucks towards Thalia Surf gear. We contacted Doug and he is more than stoked to be the winner. An avid surfer for over a decade, he’s a traditional longboarder, with a quiver that includes some Tyler Surfboards and Cooperfish Longboards. We can’t say we’re not jealous, but we’re also amped to stoke out someone with such great stuff. Thanks to all who entered and our next contest is in the works so stay tuned… for now, here’s a pic of the winner getting a nice little ride the other day!
